1958 DeSoto Firedome Sportsman 2-Door Hardtop

361cid/295hp V8 with an automatic transmission with power steering and brakes. Frame-on restoration with matching numbers. Award winning 1958 Desoto Sportsman Firedome. No expense spared on ground up restoration of this rare American classic. Ododmeter reading of 49,550 is believed to be correct and accurate basen on documentation found in car as well as conversations with previous owner, but cannot be 100% proven and as a result no claims to odometer accuracy is implied. Car was purchased new in Nebraska/Colorado and as a result car was very solid and needed only minimal repair to a small area in the trunk and a small area under the master cylinder. Original 361 big block engine as well as 3-speed tansmission and all mechanical components have been rebuilt or replaced. Options include power steering and power brakes. Restoration was completed fall of 2006 and cars first outing was to a Colorado car show and was rightfully rewarded with "Best of Show" award. Own on of America's great Fabulous 50's finned cars.
