Among some of the most attractive pickups of the 1930s were those from the Dodge Brothers. As part of the MC series, the light-duty haulers were very popular with customers who demanded they get what they paid for. Unlike some trucks of the day where just about everything was extra, for the base price of $540, Dodge pickups were well appointed. They included items such as standard chrome front bumper, right-fender mounted spare tire, comfortable seats, and for making the ride almost enjoyable, Amola springs all around that helped with the "fore-point" load distribution suspension. This attractive example was given a comprehensive restoration a few years back when it was painted an attractive combination of silver metallic and black. It still retains its original engine and transmission but does have a set of upgraded wheels, and in the cab, late model bucket seats for driver and passenger comfort have been installed. Ready to be driven and enjoyed, finding a truck of this vintage that has survived over 70 years of being on the road is a rare occasion not to be passed up.
