Just like today, American car buyers were looking for value from their money back in the early 1950s. One of the popular brands for dependable transportation plus comfort in driving was Dodge, and their top line series was the Coronet. A total of eight different models were fielded and while four-door sedans were by far the most popular body-style, there were those who were looking for a little more cozy of a ride, but for up to six people; enter the club coupe. This example has been finished in a dark green metallic with the spacious interior trimmed in a period covering of gray Herring-bone fabric. It is also equipped with factory radio, heater-defroster and clock. Basically an original car, there appears to be no signs of major body damage or metal maladies aside from some typical minor denting on the lower rocker panels. One of our favorite features of this car is the custom eight-ball gear-shift knob, and one can be sure that if you are the high bidder on this good looking Dodge coupe, you?ll never be found "behind the 8-ball!"
