241 cid Super Red Ram Hemi V8 engine rated at 150 horsepower, three-speed manual transmission, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes? wheelbase: 114.0" 126"

Forty years worth of Dodge dependability was a reason to celebrate, and one of the biggest honors a car company could have was being selected to be the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500 race. Selected for this honor was the new top-line series at Royal convertible. In order to properly promote this duty, 701 replicas were produced and distributed to dealers across the country. This car appears to have possibly been one of those special edition convertibles, currently painted red and white, with a red interior, and tan top, our inspection found evidence of yellow in several crevices; an exclusive shade used only on the Pace Car editions. Under the hood it appears to have its original Super Red-Ram V8 fitted with dual exhaust, plus the chrome plated crossed-flag emblems mounted on both fenders, another item that was only used on these cars. Our brief inspection found a solid rust-free body with presentable chrome and bright trim. Reports are that it is in very good running condition. There are quite a few treasures in the Old Car Heaven Museum, but this may just be one of the brightest shining jewels.
