1956 Dodge Sierra Station Wagon
$16,500

315 cid overhead valve V8 engine rated at 218 horsepower, Power-Flite two-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 120.0"

New and inspiring uses of chrome and color made the 1956 Dodge one of the most attractive and immediately recognizable makes on the American road. With the continued growth of the suburbs and more people on the move, station wagons were an important part of any car maker's line-up. For the first time, tri-tone color schemes were available on nearly all models including the Sierra station wagons, considered a part of the Coronet series. This stunning example is turn-key ready to hit the road, finished in Cloud Gray with Oriental Coral, topped off by a Sapphire White roof. The well-appointed interior, with seats redone in an attractive black and white vinyl, still retains the original door panels plus factory radio, heater-defroster and clock, and also a windshield washer. This was also the first year for the push-button operation of the automatic transmission, with the control pod mounted on the dashboard. Showing just under 83,300 miles, which is believed to be from new, this wagon is one stunning ride, and really deserves to be owned by a family for which it was designed.
