During the 1950s, Dodge saw that wagons continued to be a major part of the market and met that demand with several models. Having come from a stark utilitarian position just a few years earlier, by 1956 nearly ever accessory available for a family sedan could be found on the station wagon. This unique Sierra, finished in Crown Yellow and Sapphire White, is very well appointed with power steering and brakes, as well basic AM radio, heater, and even a clock. One of the most appealing features of this wagon is the painted wire wheels which match the main body color. This is basically an original car and shows some signs of aging, such as light surface rust on the dashboard and seats that need to be recovered. No signs of rust-out or other body problems were seen and the bright trim looks as though it could be easily polished with no signs of major pitting.
