Not only did Dodge have distinctive new styling for 1960, all models received new designations and for the first time since World War II, two different wheelbases. Station wagons were once again quite popular in suburbia and Dodge fielded a total of seven different models. Reigning supreme as the top wagon in the Dart family was the Pioneer, offered only in four-door form, it provided plenty of room for passengers or cargo. While the color scheme currently on this example might be a bit loud, the body work underneath looks to be solid, though there are a few minor dings and several areas of surface rust. Showing 83,875 miles, this appears to be from new, as the passenger area is in very good condition with seats still covered in their original fabrics and door panels are complete. It is equipped with the Music Master radio, a $58.50 extra, heater-defroster, and a relatively rare Speed Minder mounted on the dashboard.
