For the second year in a row, totally new sheet metal adorned the entire Dodge passenger car line, and many think it was one of the wildest creations ever placed into production. Dart was aimed at being just above the low-priced three models from Chevrolet, Ford and Plymouth. A wide variety of models were found in the Seneca and Pioneer sub-series, but only one convertible could be had in the Dart family and it was marketed under the Phoenix nameplate. This example, finished in Snow White, features a red vinyl bench seat interior with a black fabric power-operated top. Like all Dodges of the era, this convertible rides on the Torsion-Aire suspension system, promoted as the best in the business. Showing just over 76,500 miles, which appear to be from new, the car appears to have had some cosmetic restoration during the mid-1990s. Accessories include power steering and brakes, factory AM radio, heater-defroster, and even a remote controlled driver's side mirror.
