Sporting all new sheet metal for 1963, the big Dodges were a part of the Polara series and they continued to be strong performers on the racetrack, on the street, and on the showroom floor. Convertibles were still the sign of sporty elegance and there was no skimping on both standard equipment and the accessories that could be ordered. With a base price of $2,963, the list of items included was impressive starting with the 318 V8 engine, electric windshield wipers, full carpeting, back-up lights and power top. Offered from the Old Car Heaven Museum is this Polar White edition fitted with black vinyl seats and a black top. From our inspection it appears to have been given a sympathetic cosmetic restoration a few years back and is quite presentable and reported to be in very good driving condition. Fitted with factory AM radio, heater-defroster, and even a clock.
