Facel-Vega History

The Facel-Vega Type Facel II is the second complete restyle of the original FV-series Facel chassis, and replaced the HK500. The ar featured a tubular chassis, a live rear axle, 4-wheel disc brakes, and a Chrysler 383 V8.

The design features include a square-cut body, quad headlights with a bulging lens, taller windsheild, and slimmer roof pillars.

Performance was terrific with a top speed of 150 mph.

However, this was the last car that Facel produced since this new model could not rescue them from bankruptcy in 1964.
