1928 Ford Model A Salt Flats Lakester
This 1928 Ford Roadster Pickup was built by the "Throttlers" of the Salt Lake City area and raced on the famed Bonneville Salt Flats.
The racer uses a 1940 Flathead Ford V8 and developes 195 horsepower. The cooling system is mounted in the rear for better weight balance and aerodynamics.
Over the years, this vintage Ford racer has been featured in many publications including Hot Rod, Ol Skool Rodz, Car Kulture Deluxe, leading Japanese hot rod journals and Hot Rod TV.
