Roll down rear window, functional cool air scoop, perfect grille and hood with side louvers, power brakes, custom Intro wheels 15" font 17" rear, Goodyear RS Eagle tires, dropped front axle with 4-bar set up, Ford rear end, parallel leaf rear springs, frame is C'ed in rear and boxed for strength. Engine is a fresh Chevrolet small block with Turbo transmission. Color of vehicle is chamois-base coat/clear coat. Interior is custom buckets in the same color as vehicle. Dash board has 6 gauges that are all functional. Tilt column with banjo steering wheel. Optional cowl lights are turn signals. Stock rear lights and turn signals. All chrome and stainless redone. Fitted with suicide doors, powered by a Cleveland 351, air conditioning and an automatic transmission mounted on the column. It is impossible not to notice this one. The dashboard is retro-fitted with chrome gauges, a tile steering wheel installed, running boards retained with 18" rear wheels and 14" wheels in front completing the design. The Mint Green color scheme is highlighted by feather graphics that carry over on to the trailer, a converted Coca Cola cooler complete with chrome bar stools. The superb workmanship of this Ford is evident everywhere you look. The engine roars to life with a flick of the ignition key, exactly as you would expect from such a creation. The untold amount of effort it took to present this car is impossible to determine. The results of the effort, planning and executing prove that the effort was well worth the time. by Douglas

1934 Ford

Despite the success of the very popular Ford V-8 introduced in 1932, the Ford Motor Company fell behind Chevrolet in sales and, other than 1935, remained behind throughout the 1930s.

In 1934, Chevrolet began using independent front suspensions while Ford continued to use the same suspensions as it had for its Model T. Asked by critics why he wouldn?t upgrade, a stubborn Henry Ford responded with "...the same reason we use round wheels - because we have found nothing better for the purpose".

For 1934, the Ford Motor Company offered a combined 26 different body styles between the V-8 and four-cylinder models, excluding their line of trucks and panel delivery vehicles.
