1960 Ford - Over 10,000 Remarkable Cars and Trucks at RemarkableCars.com
For 1960 all the Ford models received new designs and a new model, the Ford Falcon was introduced.
On the existing models, the bodies were completely new but shared the chassis and engine from the previous year. The new models were longer and wider and featured a single chrome strip from the top of the front bumper, moving up to the top of the front fender, then back horizontally along the beltline to the rear of the car.
The all-new Falcon was Ford's entry into the compact car race.
