1965 Ford Mustang

The big news for the 1965 Mustang was the addition of the 2+2 fastback model which featured a larger backlight glass and a shorter trunk lid. The 65 Mustang fastback also had functional fresh air vents on the B-pillars and a folding rear seat back that gave exceptional carring capacity.

Sales of the 65 Mustang continued to be terrific with a total sales for the model year exceeding a half-million units.
