Honda Jazz
The Honda Jazz debuted at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its styling followed the modern trends of a smaller vehicle with a high body and featured an original backseat division, providing various interior possibilities. Interior spaciousness was increased by locating the fuel tank more forward, under the front seats.
The Jazz has a new-generation gasoline engine, offered in a 1.2 liter 78 hp and a 1.3 liter 83 hp version. This new engine has 2 spark plugs per cylinder.
In 2002, the Jazz became available with a Constant Velocity Transmission (CVT).
The Jazz received an updated styling in 2004.
Since 2005, the Europe-designated Jazz vehicles have been built in China.
