The third model of the XK series, the 150 was the most refined of the XK trio. Still available as roadster, coupe or convertible (DHC), it was significantly different from the earlier cars. It featured a one-piece wraparound windshield and 4-wheel disc brakes. All body panels were new, with a higher cowl and fender line and wider grille. The proven DOHC six was retained, available in 3.8 litre form, producing 265 hp in the "S" version. Soon to follow would be the XKE or 'E' type, with even more striking styling.
