This 1991 Jaguar XJS Convertible is a classic collection edition with a 5.3 Liter V-12 engine, automatic transmission, cold AC, full power, sporting wheels, leather interior, original radio, new convertible top and only 52,000 original miles! This is a really nice classic Jaguar that runs and drives great! The Jaguar XJS replaced the legendary E-Type in September 1975 and was based on the XJ Saloon. It had been developed as an XK-F though it was very different in character from its predecessor. Although it never had the same sporting image, the XJ-S was a competent grand tourer and in fact is more aerodynamic than E-type. The last XJS was produced in April 1996 with the XK8 taking its place. The car was reengineered in 1991 as a XJS convertible.
