Information

After World War II Jaguars were mostly 4-door sedans similar to the 1938-39 models. The 1.5 Litre car had a 6-inch shorter wheelbase and 4-cylinder engine. Long hood, upright radiator with Jaguar mascot, freestanding headlamps, flowing separate front fenders and narrow body. Leaf-spring/live-axle suspension front and rear; British wood dash with large dials; 70 mph, but the 3.5 Litre over 90 mph. mostly right-hand drive for the British market.
