Jaguar Mark VII Saloon 1951-1955

The Jaguar Mark VII represents the most stylish luxury sedan to come out of England after World War II. It would take a few years for either Rolls-Royce or Bentley to catch up. 20,000 examples were produced up to 1954. Later over 46,000 Mark VIIs and its deriatives were built. Big drum brakes, torsion bar front suspension, a sweeping front wing-line, roomy interior, wide armchair seats, walnut veneer dash, toolbox compartments inthe doors. The MkVIIM shows wing-mounted flashing turn signals; horn grilles instead of fog lamps and wing mirrors. 190 bhp. The MkVII was much the same as the XK but with a longer chassis and the same twin-cam straight-six engine.
