1935 MG PA Airline Coupe

The MG PA Airline Coupe was one of three P-type MGs shown at the 1934 Motor Show. The elegant PA Airline Coupe is a closed car with a sliding metal roof with transparent panels. This was a fairly radical departure for MG since the idea of a closed car was an anathema to the average sports car buyer. However the excellent performance of the overhead cam engine and the race-bred chassis made the Airline fun to drive.

Only 28 Airline Coupes were built on the PA chassis and, sadly, few survive today. This beautifully restored example is owned by Don C. of Tennessee.
