$12,650

222.7 cid L-head inline six-cylinder engine rated at 85 horsepower, three-speed manual transmission, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 117.0"

America was still in an economic recovery stage in 1938, but more customers were stepping up to the medium price field and Pontiac was an extremely popular brand. Powered by a proven in-line six, and with outstanding good looks highlighted by the Silver-Streak trademark trim, these cars were economical to buy and economical own, delivering decent mileage and as much horsepower as a Ford V8. Priced at $835 when new, this was one of the most sought after body styles. This example was been given a full restoration several years ago and while used only sparingly since, a detailing and tune-up would be of great benefit for this coupe. It has been fitted with the factory heater and dash-mounted clock, as well as a very unique and hard-to-find radio. With improved synchronizers in the transmission and toggle-action helper springs on the clutch, driving the new Pontiac was as easy as could be. With all the hard work done on the restoration of the beauty, you will find owning as easy as pie by being the high bidder of this lovely coupe.
