1947 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith Inskip Cabriolet

Photographed at the Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville, California. Photos by Douglas Wilkinson.

This Silver Wraith was the last custom body created by the Inskip Coachworks in Springfield, Massachusetts. The car was originally owned by American playboy and heir to the Johns-Manville asbestos fortune, Tommy Manville. It was later owned by Judge John C. North II of Maryland and Mr. and Mrs. Noel Thompson of New Jersey.

This "one-off" example was restored to the highest standards and has received numerous concours d'elegance awards as well as the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) National First Prize Winner and Best of Show honors.
