1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith I All-Weather Cabriolet

Photographed at the Blackhawk Auto Museum in Danville, California. Photos by Douglas Wilkinson.

This distinctively styled one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce with Freestone & Webb coachwork is both practical and stylish; the totally disappearing top and roll-up windows provide all-weather protection, including a second windshield for the rear-seat passengers.

The unique caning was applied by using a device similar to a cake decorator's bag with a hollow cone-shaped tip; an artisan with a steady hand applied the intricate pattern by carefully squeezing out an even, controlled bead of paint.

Coachwork: Freestone & Webb, London, England
Engine: 6-cylinderm F-head
Bore and Stroke: 3.6" x 4.5"
Displacement: 298.2 cubic inches
Horespower: 122 @ 4400 rpm
