This Phantom is a pre-production prototype used during the late development and testing stages of the first new Rolls-Royce created since BMW acquired what is arguably the world's most famous brand name in July, 1998.

The production Phantom is over 19 feet long and is powered by a 6.75-litre V12 engine developed by BMW. The new powerplant can propel this grand automobile from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 149 miles per hour.
