1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith I All-Weather Cabriolet

The Silver Wraith I was the first Rolls-Royce to appear after World War II and was a completely new design. The F-head engine with the overhead inlet valves and exhaust valves underhead permitting the use of larger valves was also new.

This distinctively styled one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce with Freestone & Webb Coachwork has a totally disappearing top and roll-up windows including a second windshield for the rear-seat passengers. The unique caning was applied by using a device similiar to a cake decorator's bag with a hollow cone-shaped tip; an artisan with a steady hand applied the intricate pattern by carefully squeezing out an even, controlled bead of paint.
