Our pictures of Schmidt Brothers trucks were taken at car museums, shows, and auctions across the United States.
Commercial vehicles receive much abuse during their lifetime and few of the earliest trucks survived. The unrestored Schmidt 1910 Truck shown here was entered in the 1911 and 1912 National Automobile Show in Chicago and was never registered to a private owner and, as far as research can reveal, was never used on a public street.
The Schmidt Brothers probably built fewer than 100 vehicles during their company's existance.
