Documented by a Marti Report, this 1970 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet Mustang was manufactured with the following options: White Hood Stripes; Evaporative Emissions (original CA smog equipment is still in trunk); Rear Deck Spoiler; F70x14 Belted Tires w/Raised White Letters; Sport Slats; Power Front Disc Brakes; Power Steering; AM/FM 8 Track Stereo Radio; Tinted Glass and; Deluxe Belts/Warning Light. With 47,892 actual miles, this California bred Mach 1 retains all of it's original body panels (there has been minor repairs made to the driver's side rocker panel at some point in the past), and has a stunning and correct Calypso Coral paint job. A cosmetic restoration was performed a few years back, and the car exhibits the best qualities of a restored car, with the best qualities of a survivor. Present is a 1967 428-4V engine, which has been fully rebuilt and restored, mated to a 1967 Close Ratio Four Speed Transmission. Present is the original 3.50 Traction-Lok Axle. With the purchase of this car, the buyer will receive a completely restored and number correct 1970 428 Cobra Jet Ram Air engine, which includes a date code block, heads, intake and exhaust manifolds. We commissioned the restoration of this rare and desirable engine at a cost of $12,000.00, because we felt this car deserves it. All of the chrome and stainless steel trim on this Mustang is in show quality condition, with much of it original to the car. We recently rebuilt the entire fuel system, which included a complete restoration of the original powder coated California fuel tank, new fuel lines, new fuel filters, and a new Mach 1 carburetor. The braking system is also newly rebuilt. The suspension has been serviced and is in perfect operating condition. Brand new correct reproduction 15 wheels are present, along with brand new 15 tires.  1967 Plymouth GTX 426 HEMI For Sale | 1967 Plymouth GTX 426 HEMI For Sale 75,900.00 USD 1967 Plymouth GTX 426 HEMI For Sale First, let's set the record straight: this Western bred 1967 Plymouth GTX started it's life as a 440 car, not a Hemi. This GTX has been a Western car it's entire life. It retains all of its original body panels, including quarter panels, trunk floor and floor pans. Every panel is perfectly straight, with no waves, dents or dings of any kind. The GTX was repainted in the very rare and desirable (and correct) 881 Bright Blue Metallic, and the car practically glows. Every piece of stainless steel trim, including the rocker panel moldings, has been repolished, and every piece of chrome has been expertly replated. The Daytona style gas cap has been expertly restored as well. Present is a brand spanking new (2007) Mopar Performance 426 cast iron hemi engine, rated at 465 HP, and 486 lb-ft of torque. Features include cross-bolted main bearing caps, cast iron cylinder heads, a .495/480 lift hydraulic camshaft (278 duration), forged pistons (9.0:1 compression ratio), a 4 Barrel, dual plane intake manifold, 3.75 and many more. Keeping everything cool is a brand new reproduction 26 date coded hemi radiator, from Glen-Ray Radiator, Inc.. The exhaust manifolds are correct hemi cast iron manifolds, courtesy of Mancini Racing Products. Present is the original A727 Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission, freshly rebuilt by Advance Transmission. The original 8 3/4 Sure-Grip axle is present, with a 3.23 gear. A new fuel sending unit was installed in the original gas tank, as well as brand new and correct stainless steel brake & fuel lines. The front end is completely rebuilt and new, as is the power steering pump. The white pearl interior in this GTX is nothing short of spectacular, with a restored dash pad, restored instrument cluster and gauges, a restored wood wheel, new sill plates, and new vinyl trim courtesy of Legendary Auto Interiors. Let's take a peek at the original trim tag, with its original rivets in place and see what we've got here: Trim 421AA tell us that this 1965 Corvette was manufactured with a Saddle leather interior, and Paint 900GG tells us the Corvette left Bowling Green with a nice shade of Glen Green. This is a complete numbers matching, investment grade Corvette. Present is the code 692 webbed 396, 425 HP engine (one year only), not to mention the correct heads, intake manifolds, carburetor and exhaust manifolds (one year only parts #101 & #102). Present is a Dewitts correct reproduction aluminum radiator, and, of course, the one year only left side battery! You will also notice the full and correct date coded transistorized ignition, correct Quanta belts and braided hoses, a correct 696 transistor alternator and a 403 bell-housing. Also present are the original Muncie M21 4 speed transmission and original 12 bolt axle with a 3.55 positraction gear set. Both the engine and transmission were completely disassembled and professionally rebuilt & restored during the restoration process. Mechanically, this Corvette is fresh and ready to go, with a new fuel tank, new fuel lines and a completely rebuilt braking system, including rebuilt calipers & master cylinder, and new lines. Finished in the original Glen Green, the body and paint on this Corvette are magnificent. At some point in its life, fender flares were added to this car. As a result, correct and brand new GM press molded quarters were installed on the car during the restoration process, correctly. The front clip is virgin and absolutely original. This Corvette was never involved in any collision of any kind and the body is as about as perfect as you will find. Price: $139,900.
