1970 Cougar XR-7 “Eliminator Recreation” 68,500 Actual Miles 351 Cubic in., Factory "Frigid" Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM Cassette, Rim blow horn, gauge package, front air dam spoiler, magnum 500 wheels with correct mercury center caps, 3:50 traction-loc rear end gears, eliminator blackout treatment, dual splitter exhaust with flowmaster 2 chambered mufflers. This cougar comes with the original window sticker and original manual, original window sticker and original build sheet (very rare). All factory options and accessories with the exception of the in dash clock works perfectly, without fail. Car is finished in a metallic laser red paint with the ultra rare houndstooth seating upholstery and NOS factory "CAT" floor mats. For what this car is the performance is startling. The car is incredibly tight as evidenced by the lack of rattles, knocks, squeaks, vibrations or any other annoying or mysterious sounds. It's doubtful a car of this weight regardless of make of model could be more quieter, or exhibit better road Manners. Car is a fabulous performer with an Exhaust sound which belies the 351 sitting under the hood. Cougar eliminators are indeed rare. With the color scheme presented with this cougar rare doesn't apply, never seen is the appropriate word.
