1951 Riley RM Police Car "As Old as the industry, as modern as the hour" The Riley is a finely-made English motor car that is both dependable and reliable. Various police bureaus in England relied on Rileys quite often, as it was a car they placed their trust in. This RM Model 1951 Riley has the larger 2 1/2 litre engine with dual overhead cams and is capable of sustained high-speed driving, 70 mph being no problem; however. Top speed should be kept at about 80 mph. This vehicle will be sold with all original documents, manuals and provenance records. It is a wonderful automobile, and given the care she deserves will reward the owner with many miles of driving pleasure. An excellent RM Riley Owner's Club exists and sells its own various mechanical spare parts, which are all available through the club at very reasonable prices.
