1976 Cadillac Seville
Elvis Presley's generosity, especially in giving gifts of automobiles to friends, family, associates, and complete strangers was legendary, as was his preference for Cadillacs. In January 1976 while skiing in Vail, Colorado, Elvis went on a car buying spree. At two-o-clock in the morning on January 14th, Elvis went to Jack Kent Cadillac in Denver, Colorado and purchased Cadillacs for Detective Ronald Pietrafesco, Detective Jerry Kennedy, Bob Cantwell, Linda Thompson, the wife of Sonny West, the girlfriend of Red West, the girfirend of Joe Esposito, and Colonel Parker. Before Elvis left Colorado, while watching the local news on TV, he saw one of the local anchormen on NBC, Don Kinney, report on Elvis's car-buying. The next day Elvis has this new blue Cadillac Seville delivered to the newsman at the station.
