1969 Chevrolet Corvette Baldwin Motion Phase III GT Coupe
Extremely rare documented 1969 Baldwin Motion Phase III GT Corvette. Car retains its original matching number 427/435 engine with 46,000 miles. Documented by Mr. Joel Rosen. Only 10 Phase III GT corvettes were built - this is one of the few known still to exist. The car will be featured in the GT chapter of Marty Schorr's upcoming book on the history of Baldwin Motion. Recognized by Marty Schorr as one of the motions cars he had a chance to drive. A rare, highly collectible piece of history which has been featured in many magazines. Recently on the cover of Corvette fever (February 2005) and Chevy Rumble (January 2005) magazines. This rare car bas been in the same family since 1971. GM factory options include: factory side exhaust, M21 transmission, 4 speed, tilt wheel, and AM/FM radio. 14 different motion modifications: recessed headlights, functional hood scoop, Shelby Mustang side scoops (the only car with this modification!), custom side louvers, slanted rear window, Dodge fuel filler, slit taillights, motion traction bar, custom side mirrors, flared wheel wells, custom Gold color with distinctive black stripping, motion installed original slotted rims with tapered lug nuts, Mickey Thompson tire, Motion valve cover, Edelbrok intake and Holley carb.
