1956 Chrysler 300 B Hemi 2-Door Hardtop
Many consider this to be the "First Muscle Car". Chrysler built 1,102 cars with 354 cubic inch Hemi engines with 340 horsepower and 2-speed auto or 3-speed manual transmissions. At year's end, 50 cars were built with 10:1 ratio pistons which made 355 horsepower. This was the first car to make more horsepower than cubic inches. They also had Torque Flite transmissions. This is 1 of those 50 cars.
All original except for paint, tires and interior (done by Gary Goers)
First of the Chrysler "Letter Cars"
This is one of only 50 cars built with the 10:1 ratio pistons which allowed the 354cid Hemi to produce 355hp - making this the first car to have more than 1 horsepower per cubic inch displacement
