Description:
|
This 1964 1/2 Mustang was built on the first day of Mustang production, April 9, 1964 in Dearborn, Michigan and was it was sold on the first day of Mustang sales, April 17, 1964, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
It is, according to the "Mustang Production Guide", the oldest Mustang convertible still registered for highway use and one of the ten oldest Mustangs of any body style anywhere in the United States. Because it was to be a Florida car, this Mustang was ordered with the heater and defrost delete feature. The factory-installed block-off plates are still on the dash and engine firewall.
