1962 Dual Ghia Model L6-4 Prototype
This Dual Ghia coupe prototype is finally back in the family. Frank Campenelli, the owner of this beautiful, unique automobile, is the nephew of one one the men instrumental in its creation - Paul Farago. Farago, an Italian by birth, through a series of acquaintences, became friends of the legendary Virgil Exner. Exner hired Farago to be Chrysler's American liaison for Carrozzeria Ghia, an Italian design and custom coach building firm. Paul Farago was involved in the Dual Ghia venture which began in the late 50's, especially in the creation of this Coupe prototype. When the car was completed, Farago gave his 11-year old nephew, Frank Campenelli, a ride that Campenelli still fondly recalls. Through a fortunate series of events, Campenelli was able to acquire this unique car.
