1954 Kaiser Darrin Sports Car
The Darrin, designed by Howard "Dutch" Darrin, debuted in 1953 and was priced nearly $900 more than the newly announced Chevrolet Corvette. The Darrin featues a fiberglass body built by Glasspar boats, doors that slide into the front fenders, and a Willys six-cylinder engine. Of particular note on this car is the gold-plated trim.
