1928 Stutz Chantilly Sedan
This unique Stutz features a custom Weymann body built much like those of early airplanes. The Zapon leather-like fabric was stretched over a wooden frame in an effort to reduce weight, eliminate squeaks and rattles, and provide better performance. This type of body construction was quite popular in Europe. Less than a dozen Weymann-bodied autos remain today. This auto also features rudimentary "safety glass" in which an array of wires were cast into the panes of glass, preventing if from breaking into large, dangerous shards.
