The 2003 Aston Martin DB AR1 (American Roadster1) was created by famed Italian coach builder Zagato to celebrate the most successful Aston Martin ever, the DB7. Only 99 examples of this magnificent automobile were produced. Chasis #001, no doubt the most collectible of all 99, is painted in Aston Martin Racing Green Number 1959, the same colour of the original DBR1 who Carroll Shelby drove to his 1959 Le Mans victory. Trimmed in special soft White Quilted Hydes, the interior coordinates perfectly with the outer finish. It is equipped with a touch tronic transmission with manual shift, numbered car cover, seat covers, a scale model #001 of 99, and a collector's edition numbered coffee table book signed by Carroll Shelby himself.
