This is a beautiful example of the '59 roadster by Mercedes Benz with the 190 engine. It was originally purchased NEW by a member of the Dierks family which was at one time one of the foremost timber and lumber companies in the USA until it was purchased by Weyerhaeuser Company in the mid to late 60's, (now one of the top timber companies along with Georgia-Pacific). It passed one generation through that family and was puchased a decade ago by Troy Muncrief, the general principle of JAG Enterprises, Inc., Restoration Division. Their specialty is British, "nut and bolt" restorations. But their experience with detail is evident in this car. The is a matching numbers car displayed in a fabulous RED with wonderful selected leather hide example of a reproduced, accurate Bone leather interior which continues to show like new today. This car has been and continues to be driven from time to time on short Sunday drives. It seems to be raring to go as it starts up every time. It shows just a bit of hazing on a few engine parts that differentiates it from a current restoration but we believe that this is a stunning example of this model.
