With Ford dominating the Trans Am racing series in the mid-60's, Chevrolet put forth a concerted effort to beat them in 1968 and '69. A lucky handful of regular people got to reap the benefits of rules homologation and drive Z/28s for the street equipped with the high-revving, 302 cid "DZ" small block like was found in Mark Donohue's championship Penske race car. The example you see here is a stunning, numbers matching Z/28. It is presented in Daytona Yellow over black interior with black stripes. Features include a 4-speed transmission, front and rear Trans-Am style spoilers, "Cowl-Induction" hood, rally wheels, bucket seats, and power steering.
