Searches performed indicate this appears to be the earliest built and still surviving. Built in first 2 weeks of production at the LA assembly plant in October of 1954. Has some 13 features found only on the very early cars and include steel back headlights, different radiator saddle, no cowl clips on firewall, different steering wheel, different top electrical switch and stainless steel windshield pillar moldings. It's a V-8 numbers and date matching 1000 point piece of History meant for the collector! Recently restored!
