This 1956 Dodge Custom Royal Golden Lancer is the only example known manufactured with the ultra rare D500-1 dual-quad 315CI/295 horsepower Hemi. The Golden Lancer was a special edition Custom Royal that was available in California only. It came specially equipped with custom two-tone paint, unique Gold trim, special badging, exclusive interior accents including dash and upholstery and other unique features. This one-of-a-kind Lancer has recently had a nut and bolt restoration. Certainly a potential museum piece, this fine automobile has all of its original sheetmetal and drivetrain. With production numbers originally slated for 100, actual production was closer to 50, with this likely the only one built with dual quads.
