This beautiful black Series 62 Convertible Coupe with its black cloth top and rich black leather interior has a most formal look. Originally a rust-free, clean Texas Cadillac, it underwent a thorough frame-off restoration in the late 1990s.
Advanced features include such niceties as its Hydra–Matic transmission, power windows, power seat, radio and heater.
Just 6,755 1947 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupes were built and they have the distinction of being the only open-bodied model in the entire line-up offered by GM’s most prestigious division that year. Of course, far fewer have survived over the ensuing six decades, which makes the 1947 Convertible Coupe a very desirable addition to the collection of any discriminating Cadillac connoisseur.
