The Series 62 Cadillac Convertible offered here is a wonderful example across the board. Finished in a handsome black with a luxuriously appointed red and white leather interior it also sports a black power soft top with matching hard parade boot. The assortment of factory options includes power windows, the Autronic Eye, clock, radio, power steering, and the optional wire wheels and whitewall tires.
The excellent condition of this car is the result of a recent restoration by its Midwest owner, who notably also owned a 1957 convertible and 1959 convertible. Overall, the brightwork, engine and bay, interior and paintwork show virtually no wear. The underbody is exceptionally tidy displaying only minor signs of road use. Accordingly, with minimal preparation and just a routine service this Cadillac would be suitable for weekend cruising or shows. In 1956 this was the car to own and the same statement stands true even today.
