This 1940 Lincoln Zephyr Convertible Coupe was the subject of a comprehensive no-expense-spared body-off restoration, completed some years ago, and accordingly it still runs well, brakes well and handles well. While most of the car remains in high point condition, some alteration to the paintwork (including buffing) would be required to return the finish to top condition. The contrasting tan cloth top folds easily to transform its cozy interior to one of open enjoyment.
Inside the same painstaking attention to detail is evident. The tan leather seats are as new and welcome you to a period where instrument panels actually contained instruments and not buzzers and warning lights. The glorious V12 powerplant was fully detailed, yet please note that when you inspect the underside of this Zephyr it has been painted, remains neat and clean, but is not detailed for show.
