The handsome Pierce Silver Arrow we have the pleasure of offering here has benefited from a comprehensive body-off restoration with photos taken throughout the process that will accompany the car in its sale. Though executed some time ago, the overall cosmetic condition has held up quite well and the paintwork is very presentable as is the brightwork and interior. Finished in a soft Dove gray with slightly darker gray trim it is accented with red wheels and inside upholstery is gray broadcloth with black piping. Overall, the subtle colors delicately enhance the dramatic lines of the Pierce and the car is even more impressive in person.
The restoration appears to have been exacted with special attention paid to duplicating the Silver Arrow’s original presentation. The gauges and dashboard appear to be in very proper fully restored condition. The odometer shows a mileage just under 45,000 miles, which may be from new, although cannot be fully verified. The straight eight motor, which provides ample power, is tidy and in nicely detailed condition. The vendor reports the Pierce is a strong running car; however, a thorough service is always recommended before any touring.
With only a handful of survivors known, this Pierce Silver Arrow offers the astute collector an opportunity to add not only one of the most impressive looking, but also among the rarest examples of this famous Buffalo-built classic car to their collection.
