The 1957 Thunderbird offered here is beautifully finished in black with a matching black and white interior. This remarkable T-Bird has traveled approximately 11,000 miles since new and now is in the possession of only its second owner from new.
The original owner, a schoolteacher from Minden Nebraska, decided to submit the car for a comprehensive restoration in the mid 1990s, the results of which left the car in very presentable concours condition. In all, nearly $30,000 was spent to bring this car to its present show quality, concours condition.
The Thunderbird is complete with a desirable package of options; including all the basic power amenities, the telescopic steering wheel, automatic transmission and Town & Country radio.
Recently, the vendor opted to improve the overall look and fitted a set of wire wheels and brand new wide whitewall tires to the T-Bird, which along with the desirable hard top give the sporting yet elegant look reminiscent of the period. We understand this example is also complete with the original title and bill of sale, both of which are included in its sale. This highly unique and rare Thunderbird is a great example of a car that has benefited from sympathetic care and ownership since 1957 and in its low mileage condition, this is undoubtedly one of best available.
