1935 MG PA Airline Coupe
At the 1934 London Motor Show, three versions of the P-Type MG were displayed. One was a new design, the smoothly styled Airline Coupe. This was a very elegant, closed car with a sliding roof that incorporated transparent panels (an early "sun-roof"). The Airline Coupe appealed to a different person from the traditional MG sports car buyer to whom the idea of a sports cars with a fixed top was an anathema.
Only 28 MG PA Airline Coupes were built and few survive, making this car one of the rearest of all MG's.
This beautiful MG belongs to Don C. of Tennessee.
