1922 Chevrolet 1-Ton Model 490 New Superior Express Delivery Truck
1922 may have been a mid-year model as most references treat the New Superior series as a 1923 model. The metal and wood body is by Mifflinburg Body Company and fitted to the chassis at the Chevrolet Tarrytown plant.
The engine is Chevrolet's 4-cylinder with overhead valves, the same as used in their cars. Production of the New Superior truck totaled 1,093 in 1922.
