1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Re-Creation
4-speed with all SS trim. Paint is a PPG base coat/clear coat Bolero Red. 396 is bored .030 over. Forged crank shaft, TRW forged pistons with stainless valves 2.06/1.72, hardened seats on exhaust, a cam-solid lifter 242 @ .050 .519/.519 lift 110 lobe separation. Edelbrock performer RPM intake, 800CFM Holley double pumper, Comp Cams steel roller rockers, windage tray and an 8" harmonic balancer GM hi-performance. Ignition is a Mallory Unilite distributor, MSD 6AL spark box and rev limiter. Transmission is a Muncie close ratio 4-speed with a vintage HD gear box with 26 spline input/32 spline output shaft. Also has a Billet steel flywheel and Center Force gold clutch. Rear end is a 1972 vintage 12-bolt with Richmond 390 gears, stock GM posi-traction, stock axles, new driveline and yokes. Suspension has all new bushings front and rear, new ball joints, front and rear sway bars 1 1/4" front, 1" rear and rear Super Sport frame braces. Newer black interior with new headliner.
