2008 Corvette ZO6 Coupe
Sold as part of a pair at the 2008 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction. See notes below.
Black with Black and Red interior.
This is the second Corvette in the pair and is a 2008 Black Z06 coupe ordered to mirror the 1958 Big Brake car as close as possible. It was ordered to be produced with the last 6 VIN numbers to match. Both cars were the 8,189th cars make in their respective years making the cars exactly 50 years apart in production numbers. The 2008 Black Z06 has a 505hp Fuel Injected engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, black and red interior, smoke gray wheels, tinted windows and most of the other options available at the time of production. This Corvette was produced in September 2007, had museum delivery and has never been driven on the street. The two cars parked side by side is truly an astounding sight. Both cars represent the best technology available in a Corvette in each of their production years and show 50 years of progress in factory available Corvettes.
This car is a matched set with Lot #1258. The pair of Corvettes sold for a total of $260,000.
